Klaus has an oobly-woobly belly, and loves to share food with friends. When he’s not snacking, he likes to bask in the sun and sing! His favorite song goes a little something like this:

I love foodsies, yes I do!
If I’m hungry, then I’m blue.
I’m not picky, no siree,
Fill my jaws up, one, two, three!

    My biggest "success"

The snout was very hard for me to conceptualize and I kept misreading the pattern which made it worse. I was getting really frustrated. So I did all the other parts/pieces first until I felt comfortable again and then I took a break from this creature. When I returned I watched the video (over and over) I got the stitch and I love how he came out!

Klaus is so cute and fun to make. I really enjoyed this kit. I do wish there was a better explanation or a video of the dc5tog stitch. I was able to find something on YouTube to help me out but I wasn’t familiar with the stitch before this kit. Also as this is going to my three-year-old niece, I wanted to tack down the belly embroidery so I added some little tax which I think look pretty cute.

    Loved bringing Klaus to life!

This was the third intermediate project that I've worked on, and it was enjoyable. I liked taking the time to learn and to continue practicing techniques for crocheting. Even though I feel more comfortable with the stitches, I still take the time to review the videos as a helpful learning tool. It's always nice to see the final product once complete!

    First intermediate project = Success!

I completed Klaus! I am so grateful to the Woobles for creating such incredibly helpful videos, and for being available to answer questions when needed!! I have felt so supported, and love how the kit comes with EVERYTHING needed to do the whole project. The step by step videos are the absolute best, especially compared to other available videos online. The Woobles are the best, hands down! I have an adorable crocodile to prove it. :)

    Very cute!

I made this one after finishing all of the beginner and beginner+ kits. It’s definitely more of a challenge but still doable — I was able to do it with all the skills I built from the other kits. Had fun and love little Klaus!
