The horn
Brace yourself. It's time. Time to learn the magic loop. We're going to be making this:
Round 1: 3 sc in magic loop (3)
Round 2: inc x 3 (6)
Rounds 3-4: 6 sc (6)
Pick up some pink yarn and watch this tutorial:
Tip
If you're having trouble seeing the stitches in this teeny tiny magic loop, use the 3 stitch markers that came in your kit and mark the stitches as you make them.
Magic loop giving you trouble? Try this easier chain method instead. It'll probably leave you with a hole in the middle, but that's OK – you gotta do what you gotta do to make a circle.
Whether you made a circle using the magic loop or chain method, give yourself a pat on the back for finishing Round 1. Now make the rest of the horn. Since this piece is so small, here's a video showing you how to work with such a wee lil' piece:
Fasten off invisibly and leave a long tail. (You'll use this yarn tail to sew the horn onto the head.)
Lastly, watch this video to learn how to sew the horn on nice and neat. The horn should be in the middle of the unicorn's head, exactly where the head started.
