The beak
Brace yourself. It's time. Time to learn the magic loop. Pick up the orange yarn and follow this tutorial:
Magic loop giving you trouble? Try this easier chain method instead. It'll probably leave you with a hole in the middle, but that's OK – you gotta do what you gotta do to make that circle.
Whether you made a circle using the magic loop or chain method, give yourself a pat on the back for finishing Round 1. There's only one more round in the beak:
Round 1: | 4 sc in magic loop | (4) |
Round 2: | [sc, inc] x 2 | (6) |
Fasten off with a long tail. Fold it in half like a pita pocket, and attach it at round 10 and centered between the eyes.
