The belly
Brace yourself. It's time. Time to learn the magic loop. Pick up the white yarn and watch this tutorial:
Magic loop giving you trouble? Try this easier chain method instead. It'll probably leave you with a hole in the middle, but that's OK – you gotta do what you gotta do to make a circle.
Whether you made a circle using the magic loop or chain method, give yourself a pat on the back for finishing Round 1. The rest of the pattern for the belly should look familiar to you:

Fasten off and leave a long tail. You'll use the yarn tail to sew the belly onto the body. Watch the video for a demo. It's different from how you ended the body since this time, the edge of the belly can be seen.
