The belly
Brace yourself. It's time. Time to learn the magic loop. Pick up the white yarn and watch this tutorial:
Magic loop giving you trouble? Try this easier chain method instead. It'll probably leave you with a hole in the middle, but that's OK – you gotta do what you gotta do to make a circle.
Whether you made a circle using the magic loop or chain method, give yourself a pat on the back for finishing Round 1. Now make the rest of the belly:

Fasten off and leave a long tail. You'll use the yarn tail to sew the belly onto the body. Watch the video for a demo. It's different from how you ended the body since this time, the edge of the belly can be seen.
Lastly, watch this video to learn how to sew the belly on nice and neat. The belly should be centered between the eyes, and the top of the belly should start between rounds 9 & 10.
