How to identify the right and wrong side of crochet
There’s a so-called right and wrong side of crochet, but let’s be real, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. After a few rounds, your work will naturally curve, which will make the what’s called the “wrong” side face you. To make the “right side” to face you, simply push the middle of your piece until the piece curves the other way. Then rotate the piece in your hands until the open rim faces the ceiling, like a cup. Your work will naturally curve in this direction. If you look closely, you can see some horizontal bars in the piece.
Simply flip it inside out…
So that the right side faces you instead. Now your crochet piece won’t have horizontal bars in each round, and instead, will look like it’s made of several small V’s.
