Meet Kaida the Dragon
We couldn’t be more excited to introduce this hot new kit, designed by our very own Woobler community…Kaida the Dragon! When it comes to cuteness, she definitely tips the scales in her favor, and she’s so char-ming that we don’t even mind her tendency to take the last piece of anything, wyvern you like it or not. That may be why she can fly only two feet off the ground, but it definitely doesn’t stop her from being totally claw-some.
Friendly, goofy, clumsy, and excitable, Kaida loves to stay up all knight, collect shiny things, and hoard all the gold—not to mention all the freshly toasted marshmallows. It’s lucky for her that her favorite food is burnt pizza, since she accidentally burns it every time she takes a bite. And it’s lucky for us Wooblers that our Easy Peasy yarn and step-by-step videos mean that even when it comes to this Intermediate kit, there’ll be no need to wing it.
So don’t be ember-rassed to jump on this band dragon, because Kaida is totally worth it. In fact, we have to admit that she’s already clawed her way right into our hearts. And since she doesn’t like things to drag-on and on, let’s get fired up and do this!

I love this kit so much and had so much fun making Kaida! This was my third Wooble (and third time ever crocheting) and I was nervous about attempting an intermediate kit. I was especially terrified about the wings, but now that she’s done, I’m so proud of myself! Kaida was my first project that went smoothly from start to finish, so I can really attest that these kits do teach you how to crochet and improve your skills! The packaging was so pretty and the special hook is really cute! On to the next Wooble… :)
I love these kits and this one turns out great — my only issue is with the videos on how to make the spikes. Unlike other videos, the instructors needle and stitch work are off camera, so we can’t see exactly what she’s doing. Luckily the description is good and I was able to follow along.
I absolutely loved the challenge of creating Kaida the Dragon!! I began by creating the beginning Woobles and felt I had the skills now to more to Kaida an intermediate Wooble. Thank goodness for the videos! I needed help with the spikes and wings. I can’t wait to make another and improve my skills! Looking forward to more challenges!
Kaida was the set I decided I was "working up to". It was challenging, but very fun! She's soooo cute when finished and you feel very accomplished.
Kaida was only my third Woobles project that I attempted and although it took me some time, I really enjoyed making her! She is so cute and with the instructions she was not as hard to make as I thought. We love Dragons in this house and Kaida is no exception!
