This was my first time crocheting and it was satisfying to get a cute final product! Overall, it was a good experience and worth the money. However, the instructions for the claws at the very end were confusing and I ended up skipping them. There were instructions to turn the limbs inside out so the right side faces out, but they were too small to do so. I also found the instructions for the face difficult to follow. Still, Iβd buy another kit.
My daughter bought me Sam the Sloth as Iβve just started learning how to crochet, and I love sloths. Itβs listed as a beginnerβs kit. Well, let me warn you itβs definitely not for beginners. This was my second Woobles project, and he did come out cute, but the instructions were extremely confusing in several parts and especially the claws were absolutely a nightmare to figure out. Fortunately, I am skilled with embroidery, so I made my own set of claws on the hands only. I do appreciate learning new techniques, although I do wish the directions were a little more detailed/easier to follow, especially for beginners. I also believe that some of the beginner kits are more intermediate and should be labeled as such. Also in the instructions, they always tell you to cut off at least 6 inches no matter what the size of the piece that need to be sewn on, and let me tell you, 6 inches isnβt enough for the large pieces that need to be sewn on (learned that the hard way). Needless to say, my Sam, came out cute. The flaws he has, only give him character. I would have given him a 5 star review if the instructions werenβt so confusing.
My Woobles got here so fast and I like it a sloth
The instructions for this one were not very thorough and were pretty confusing. I would not buy or make this again. Cute product in the end, but it was a headache.
