I have been crocheting for many years but have never been able to make stuffies. When I saw the Woobles kits I thought it would be a good way to learn! My granddaughters picked these kits.
The instructions and videos are great and my daughter and granddaughter are anxious to try their own. I got some easy peasy yarn more kits and have been making more Woobles! I still have to finish up the pink Fred, the lemon pattern is on the yarn label. Iβm happy with how they came out!
Bella was my first intermediate wooble. I found the body easy but the legs were difficult. I had a hard time with baby Bella which is a bit embarrassing but the eyes disappeared and the tiny pieces were hard to attach. I made the mistake of stuffing the legs because I downloaded the pattern. She's cute but slightly difficult. I ran out of brown but that's my fault because I ruined the first leg. So cute and would recommend.β€οΈBTW you should make a squirrel πΏοΈ named poppy!
Iβm really happy with the finished product but I learned a lot while making Bella + baby. Looking back I think I either placed the snout off a bit or I could have put the eyes closer together. I also struggle a bit with color changes and had to start a couple of rows over to make sure I had the right stitch count in each color. No matter what I did, the right side of the tan belly never stretched out to the right like the left side did. I would have had to change the pattern to shift the color over. And the legs, I had to improvise a bit as it was hard to identify the base of the chain to stitch back into. But Iβm super happy with my results.
I absolutely LOVED this bundle of kits! This was probably one of my favorites so far to make and itβs so cute how baby Bella can come in/out of the pouch like that. I think this was an easier intermediate kit than the llama and dragon and the tutorial videos and pictures on the written pattern make it very easy to do. Baby Bella is pretty easy too but I see why itβs beginner+ because of the body shape and color change on something so small. But overall 10/10 would recommend!
