Who knew you can crochet a coffee mug. This is my very first Wooble and I’ve never crochet before. I think I’m happy with how it turned out. With the extra button in the woobly bits I decided to give the mug a nose just to see if I like it. Turns out it is impossible to remove once you put the safety on the other side. Oh, well! The handle proved to be a challenge so I had to start over a few times but it worked. Now I wonder what to do with the leftover. I may try the mug again or wait and complete the Christmas advent calendar I ordered and use all leftover pieces and yarn to try some of the free patterns.
Made this as a gift for my partner who's a barista and it was a lot easier than expected! I'm not a crafty person, but the videos were super clear and simple for someone who has never crocheted before. I did have to redo a few sections after getting the hang of it, and I had to add an extra row to the coffee section to make it fit the width of my mug, so it definitely helps to take your time and make sure the pieces look right/match the videos. Because I took my time, this took me three evenings of crocheting to complete. I could definitely feel my skills improving throughout the process and I can't wait to start my next crochet project!
I have tried to crochet in the past and couldn’t figure it out. I was able to do this in one night and on my first try! I love this, he’s so cute and I will 100% be ordering more!
I was so excited to do this one because I knew I would keep this at my desk at work! I wasn’t pleased with the execution of the piece but I think I want to do this one again and see if it was just me. I think I might love needed to make my stitches tighter to get the mug shape more defined.
This still! This was also a quick one to make if you know crochet basics 😃 made it in one day no problem!
