I made Sophie while I was on a cruise and loved making her. The bubble stitches are fun to learn and she doesn’t have any color changes or a lot pieces to sew on- perfect for a project to do on a trip. I had a happy accident while embroidering her nose but I liked it so I kept it. Another great wooble for my collection.
I had been waiting for a poodle Wooble for a long time, and this did not disappoint! I was glad I had previously done Gertrude the Llama, as the technique was similar (making double crochet clusters) and I learned a lot from Gertrude that allowed Sophie to look even better. I truly think Sophie looks so funny (in a good way!) and she looks so much like a poodle, I'm just delighted every time I look at her.
I’ve been waiting for this wooble. I love standard poodles this was perfect for me. Now I need to make a black one.
I used the yarn provided as a test run to make one in the color of my childhood bestie which I fully intend to remake in grey.
As I am no longer an inexperienced crocheter, the project went quickly. The only problem I had was when I attempted to do the other ear with my non-dominant hand. But I finished it and it looks amazing.
