I absolutely loved this kit. I'm self taught from YouTube vids when it comes to crochet and I've been doing it on and off for a few years.
What I loved was that the tutorial was so incredibly detailed and comprehensive, I ended up learning foundational skills that I never learned. I learned how to use stitch markers and how to not lose my place. Amazing!!
Pompompurin is also my most favorite Sanrio character of all time so I had to get this. I was able to make some tweaks to get him looking extra cute. I crochet an extra row on his arms and hat to make them bigger. I also gave his butt mark one extra line to look more like an asterisks. I also embroidered between stitches to get his mouth and nose centered just right.
Overall 100/10, I would definitely buy this again ❤️
Amazing Plushie! I learned the basics of crocheting amigarumi and made a cute plushie along the way! If you’re interested in crocheting then get a woobles kit! Even with the price, it’s worth it because you can buy eyes online and use your leftover material to make another!
Considering this is my first time picking up a crochet hook I’m thrilled how it came out! Got a little flustered at points but learned a ton through the videos
Moderately easy to follow instructions. Overall I think it turned out cute!
I am mostly happy with how my little guy turned out but I feel like it was just slightly off considering the cost. I think the yellow is a tinge too green — it looks a bit dull in real life. Also, in the text instructions it said to put the eyes 6 stitches apart, but that made it so it was impossible to center the mouth and nose. I had to pull his right eye off and insert it one stitch over to make him look okay. Even so, it feels like he’s missing the woobles oomf that I love.
