Ordered two, received twins.

I’ve fast become a Woobles fangirl, and loved the first mystery donut I bought, so I bought two more this time around. Unfortunately, I received two of the same. I think they could solve this issue in multiple ways (the first mystery donut I received came in a bag identifying the model; the two I just received are in the exact same packaging which doesn’t identify the contents). I went from being super excited to receive these to pretty bummed. I’ve messaged their help center and am hoping for an exchange or at least a different pattern that I can use one of the kits for.

helpful for beginners, but you might get duplicates

you don’t know which pattern you get until you open the bag, i ordered two and unfortunately got two of the same (but i can give one to a friend) but woobles kits are definitely the easiest way i’ve tried to learn crochet

Can't recommend the mystery sets

I usually hate posting negative reviews - especially for a company like the Woobles that I really do love (I have over 50 Woobles). However, I feel like I have to warn off the mysteries. I understand it's a mystery pull, but I ordered 10 donuts and didn't even manage 4 of the available 5 patterns. I have never had another company do a mystery that was so heavily composed of duplicates. Something similar happened to me last year as well. They've had SO MUCH feedback on how to improve the process and still keep it a mystery, but it seems they aren't interested.

If they ever bring back a 2 pattern mystery with the rare pull being a special yarn color in the future I might try again, and recommend you do as well because the first one was really fun! But as long as they stick with their current model - can't recommend taking part in the mystery pulls.
