Rainbow Fred was my first and pink Fred was maybe my 12th. I needed to redeem myself!
I love how easy the Woobles kits are to use. I had an absolute blast making Fred. The step by step videos on Fred were very helpful, especially for the little nub arms! He’s a little lopsided but that’s okay, he’s just a side angle kind of guy. I would recommend this Fred kit to everybody!!
I have never crocheted before and bought a “beginner friendly” pattern off Etsy. It was a disaster. I came here and bought Fred the Dinosaur and feel so much more confident now! He’s not perfect but he looks pretty good for my first Wooble. The videos are so helpful and I appreciate the left-handed versions as well. So glad I found Woobles!
I am so impressed and so in love with these kits. I did two Freds, the green one first and the pink one second. My second one (pink) is definitely better. But even the first one is so cute and I applaud the tutorials. They were concise yet thorough. I was of course taught how to crochet Fred but also taught the actual stitches to be able to apply elsewhere. So I feel confident I’m learning to crochet even beyond these kits. I’ve always wanted to get into crochet, but was always intimidated. This really helped take away the intimidation. I also love there was an option for the eyes if you are giving it to a small child. I wouldn’t have even considered that. The design, colors, yarn are all such good quality and so cutely designed, and it was also so educational. The pink one is such an adorable pink. I knitted this for my friend’s daughter whose favorite color is pink. I know she’ll love it!
So far this is my third wooble and it was so much fun to have this challenge! This Wooble will be added to my office because I’m so proud of it!
