Oh boy this was challenging. Iβve been doing Woobles for over a year and a half. I took a break for a couple of months after doing a large donation to a nonprofit and got back into it with this. I like the looks of the glitter yarn and the way it crocheted but it does fray and split easily and gets stuck when trying to sew the pieces on and push the tail ends through the plushie. I didnβt like the patterns for the ears and the wings. I need to readjust the wings a little bit. Also the volume of a couple of the videos took a significant dip down very low which was annoying. Overall Iβm pleased with the outcome.
To Jessica you could cut the damaged section of the yarn and if it was in the middle tie the ends together, if you didnβt reach out to the company.
Unfortunately the glitter yarn came damaged, so I couldnβt complete the kit.
I enjoyed making Esperanza. The glitter yarn was nice to work with and the glitter helped cover the sins of my work.
I got this kit for my birthday and I was so excited about it but when I opened it and tried to make it the glittery yarn was rough and it hurt my hands. I thought that the wooble's would be something good but it's not.
I got this thinking maybe Iβd like it. It turned out quite ugly. I tried modifying it so it wasnβt so boxy. Iβve learned Woobles human shapes arenβt for me.
I also, for the price of these things, they should give instructions for each wing so you donβt have one facing the opposite direction. Woobles wings always look uneven unless you can crochet left and right handed or you have a friend opposite handed to help. It seems lazy that they donβt give instructions for both.
The glitter yarn was nice and I had plenty.
