I loved making Andy! I wanted more contrast to his feathers, so I made them purple instead of the recommended gray! Plus purple is my favorite color!
This was my third Wooble. I didn’t use the videos since the written pattern was pretty easy. It was fun to learn the new skill involved in making the eyebrows. After seeing cute pictures on FB, I will definitely try him again with different yarn.
I loved this wooble but it would have been nice to include more specific videos for the wooble. Sometimes it would go to a generic video of how to attach a 3-d piece to the penguin but I got lost when it came to attaching the eyebrows on my project. I feel like my owl’s eyebrows look a bit messy on him and not like the photo. It wasn’t clear how to keep part of the eyebrow not attached. It was also hard to see how the left side is attached opposed to the right side because they’re at different angles. Overall fun but videos could be improved on attaching 3D pieces that are specific to the project.
The directions were a little hard to follow since they were not the new kind like they were with Pier the Penguin but overall I’m super happy with how it turned out!
I’ve never crotched before but the step by step videos helped tremendously. I definitely had times where I had to step away because I was frustrated but once I came back and tried it again, I got it! So don’t give up if there are parts you don’t get right away!
