I bought the Loopables Kit as soon as it dropped, what I didn’t expect was what it would do for my family. My dad is a paraplegic who uses a wheelchair and has limited hand mobility, and my younger brother is autistic and needs calm, clear instruction and predictable pacing to stay engaged. The Woobles kit didn’t just give us a craft to do; it gave us a way to be together. The pre-started pieces and the short video steps made it possible for my dad to join right away without wrestling with the very hardest beginning stitches, it's all done for you! My brother loved the clear, repetitive motions and being able to take “jobs” (holding stuffing, sorting pieces, reading the pattern prompts aloud) so he felt useful and proud. We worked at our own pace, taking breaks when sensory overload crept in, and celebrated each small victory, a completed row, a perfectly-placed eye, a finished tail. By the end of the afternoon we had made something cute together, and more importantly we’d had an afternoon of real connection that wouldn’t have happened without a beginner-friendly kit like this. I also want to say thank you and keep listening to your fanbase!
P.S. The kit’s inclusion of pre-started pieces, step-by-step videos, and needing nothing but your fingers made a real difference for us, it’s exactly what beginner kits should offer and it made it much less intimidating for my father and brother to give it try. Also, release that extra squeezy yarn without the loops so experienced wobblers like me can start making plushies! Imagine Balrog in plushie size up against Gandalf in the scene you guys provided! So much more realistic and awesome!
These were so easy to learn this new skill. I completed all of the m in one day. So fun! Would 100% recommend!
My loopable kits came yesterday and they were so easy and fun, I wound up finishing them all yesterday. While Wooble kits are a little more expensive than other kits, I think that having all of the materials and the video instructions make them worth the extra cost.
I haven't ordered yet but I'm super exited for this new style of Wooble!!
I have no real rating but when I saw the video I ended up rushing to the webpage to see if the kits were gone and it was only loopables but I'm happy to see all of the normal kits for crochet are still here, untouched.
