This said it was good for a beginner. The instructions start super slow. Then all the sudden they go super fast. Also the video angles don't show you very well what to do often so your left guessing if you put a marker or stitch in the right place. I think I was able to figure it out but mine definitely has not turned out exactly right. So I'm giving 3 stars because I feel like it's just ok for beginners.
I have not started the legs yet but wanted to point out how inconsistent the video instructions are. One moment they pause after each stitch and the next one video is doing multiple stitches and a super fast pace even though they didn't teach the whole stitch yet. They "teach a "cluster" by giving a separate video for like the first 2 steps and then go ok we're going to do the last 3 steps of this "cluster" in one go. Like excuse me we're new to this stitch slow down. I can't do it that fast yet! Having to constantly pause and rewind a video is frustrating while your hands are full.
This was my third Wobble and unfortunately has yet to be completed. I got to the point where you join the two neon pieces to form the abdomen, but unfortunately the angle in the video is all wrong for this piece (as a novice right handed crocheter). The video shows how to join the pieces from the front, not the back. I got very frustrated trying to make it work and ended up not finishing. I'm keeping it around in hopes I'll finish some day, but I'm pretty discouraged at the moment.
I deducted 1 star from this review because the bottom of Nyx where you attach an extra piece, and where you see the web is not pictured at all. For this reason it takes a beginners piece and makes it a little more advanced. They should have pictured not only it attaching but also the actual back after it’s attached. I had to zoom in and basically get the idea of it. What’s great about the Woobles is their odds are generally flawless and you don’t have to do guess work ever. That’s a great thing. In this case the major nuance of Nyx, the web and bottom was not pictured and therefore missed the mark a bit. This is a beginner project for a 3rd crochet project or plus. I really enjoyed the project otherwise and found it to be fairly simple. I have attached photos of the bottom so you can see what it should look like. (That think it SHOULD look like lol)
