Snoopy was my second ever Wooble and was super fun to make! He was a little more time consuming having to make so many separate pieces with the magic loop but it was worth it! I wish he could sit straight but he’s so cute leaning on my first Wooble, Hugo the French Bulldog!
Last year I purchased a Taylor Swift crochet kit thinking I could teach myself how to do it and quickly found myself way in over my head. From there I attempted to learn how to crochet from various videos and how-to-guides, to no avail. With this Woobles kit I can now say that I know how to crochet. The pre-started piece proved to be a game changer and allowed for an easy way into the world of crochet. The step by step videos and pattern instructions were incredibly helpful and I returned to them often throughout the process. Even though my Snoopy didn’t come out exactly like the pictures (I’ve affectionately named him Snopy because he’s a little wonky) I still had a lot of fun making the kit and look forward to working on new crochet projects in the future!
I loved this kit! It was purchased for me as a gift and I had struggled learning crochet in the past. With the video tutorials and labeled starting piece I got the hang of crocheting really quickly! By the end of the project I was able to follow the pattern with ease. It was helpful to go back and look at videos if I was getting confused and to check to make sure my work looked right. Will be purchasing another Wooble for myself soon!
This was my third Wooble, and it took me the longest to complete because there were so many parts to it. The instructions were clear, though, so I was able to finish it without difficulty.
I can see why they don’t use black yarn much in their designs. It really was harder to see!
This was an excellent kit, and it turned out great. The one critique I had was that he was top-heavy and couldn’t sit up on his own. I found a pattern for doll feet online and modified it to be the right size for Snoopy, but I feel like feet should have been included in the original pattern.
This is my first Woobles. He turned out a little differently than the photos but I tried. lol.
