I have made a number of Woobles and like how these are a bit broader in the base so easier to stand. I liked the bundle overall. Was a bit tougher for those that are beginner. I’d do Voldemort, Dobby, Albus and Harry for last. You’ll definitely be a color change pro by the end.
I love the Woobles kits, and this is the first collab bundle I’ve gotten. The kits in general are awesome! For the most part very easy to follow and accomplish. My only qualm has been that during some of the collab project videos, they are cut and clipped together from different projects. I understand technique is the same regardless of the yarn color or what-have-you, but some of the videos don’t fully explain how to do something and it can make the project difficult. For example, I haven’t yet finished the scarf for Harry because of the color changes and “hiding” the extra yarn as you go along. The video tells you to do this, but it’s WAY different than hiding the tail on a piece such as the body. But it just moves on and tells you to finish the scarf, color changed and all. And I will say that I have tried this multiple times, repeatedly sitting down with it to try and figure it out. I’ve given way more than the average try and it’s still escaping me. I think the instruction videos could be taken better care of, instead of cut and pasted from random projects it would be helpful to have an instruction video for the specific project.
I really love Woobles kits. I probably own 30 of them by now and have never had any problems. This Harry Potter out is amazing and so cute! I love the characters and their tiny friends.
My only problem was with the Voldemort kit, his nose specifically. The yarn in the photo looks darker and you can tell he has a nose. The yarn I got for his nose is the same color as his body and I can’t even tell that there is a nose on him. He is still adorable, but I wish that it was a darker grey like in the photo.
Woobles are still one of my most favorite craft kits and I will be purchasing many, many more in the future! Thanks for all the hard work you all do!
