I purchased this truly thinking it would be more Christmas themed. The box is super cute but I was disappointed from the very first box I opened. The full sized kits were mostly your everyday kits. I did expect kits that would have something to do with the holiday season (think reindeer, elves, a snowman? gingerbread? something). I started one of them but I really am thinking of undoing what little I have done so I can create a reindeer instead. I would never purchase most of the full sized kits. I love Woobles (have done more than I can count in my head), but this advent calendar did not live up to my expectations. I do think the tiny kits are totally adorable and keeping with the advent calendar.
Lovely advent calendar!! Very well crafted with a variety of crochet options and accessories. The final 2 boxes were adorable, even my cats loved it!
If the meaning of this advent is to remind you to enjoy the little things in life, it succeeded. I’m in fifth grade and opening box eleven (not giving spoilers! In the writing part of this review that is. lol.) reminded me of going to my Grandma’s a lot when I was 3-5. Box 12 definitely reminded me of first and second grade when I’d finish filling up the little sticker chart my teacher had given me, and getting to walk up to the front of the class and pick out a goody similar to the one I opened today. People say box 12 was not to good, but I think if the purpose was to remind you of Christmas when you were little, it did it! Loved box ten! Fun to make. Love box two too. Box one was also amazing. I loved it all! Made the Grinch woobles too. Same with the ornaments, but they’re on the family tree. Will buy next year! Merry Christmas Y’all! And a Happy New Year. P.S. Do not look at pictures below unless you want spoilers.
I have this advent calendar and have already finished the beaver. I made a little mistake and went back to front instead of front to back so now he’s waving, but it makes him even more cute.
