Challenging but Fun.

I have to say this was a very challenging but fun little Wooble. Albus is one of my favorite characters in HP and is the first Wooble I have crocheted.
I wouldn't say its a true beginner kit just because some of the videos are vague as to what to do when you get to certain assembles (the wig being the big one) and the the example videos not being exactly what your working on. The yellow yarn is gonna be short compared to the amount you get of the other yarns, so your gonna have to use a little bit of your other yarn.
Besides all that I liked the variety of different types of crochets you got to learn just in this wooble. The videos were slow and really took the time to show you what you needed to do. Learning how to read a round is really nice.
All in all I highly suggest woobles if this is a craft you really want to get into. Its so much simplier to learn and at least puts you on a better pathway to learning where to start or what to do. Its definetly broaden my knowledge more for future projects and i'm very happy with my little Albus.
Next up Fawkes!

So fun and learned new techniques!

This is the tenth Wooble I have done and once again I was super happy with it! I learned several new skills with this one and it turned out so cute! The videos were very detailed and made it easy to follow along. If you are a Harry Potter fan I highly recommend!!

Best crochet tutorial ever

I taught myself to crochet through YouTube tutorials but this is the most in depth tutorial I’ve seen. I love how every detail was explained thoroughly and there was even some skills I realized I taught myself wrong previously that I was able to correct. Because I had crocheted before I found this kit appropriately challenging but I would have struggled if I didn’t have that background so I would not suggest this kit as your very first wooble.
My only issue with this kit is I didn’t get enough yellow yarn. I had leftover yarn of every color but not nearly enough yellow. I had to use less strands in the tassel as the pattern said to and I had to sew the tassel on with tan yarn.

Super cool but not for beginners

I really like how my piece came out. However, this Wooble gave me a tough time. I really think it’s more for intermediate crocheters. Or 1 level below intermediate but 1 level above Beginner+. This was the hardest Wooble I’ve done thus far. (I did 6 Woobles before this one) Just because the videos are so vague. On other Woobles the videos are usually much more in depth and not so abrupt.
My advice: I wouldn’t get him as your first or even second Wooble/project. HOWEVER, I think you will learn A LOT from him. He was definitely a blessing in disguise as now I feel I know a lot of tips & what-not-to-dos. If you have Dumbledore, my tip is to cut off 5-6x the length of his hair to sew it on (instead of the usual 3x) and to not rely on the videos too much. For me, I was confused how to sew on a piece to an already sewn on piece without making it look funky. (I never did find out but I think he looks okay)
All in all, this Wooble turns out super cute in the end even with mistakes which I had plenty!
