Meet Kiki the Chick
Think of this wee Weeble as the minimalist of the bunch. Not only is she the smallest, but she’s also the least cluttered, with every one of her parts and colors sparking joy. It’s like she was tailor-made for beginners.

As in, “I’ve never held a crochet hook before” beginners. Or even, “Wait, you crochet with a hook?” beginners. But with this super helpful kit, you’ll have an adorable chick nestling in the palm of your hand in no time.

Can I really learn how to crochet from these kits?
You bet - over 500,000 people have learned crochet with The Woobles, and you can be next! Just follow the step-by-step video tutorials that come with each learn-to-crochet kit. Our beginner kits also come pre-started to get you over the first hump.

I am definitely hooked!

The Woobles promise that you will get “hooked” does not lie!! I started with Pierre the Penguin (and wrote a lengthy review on that one, same date as today) and absolutely loved it, and went on to do Kiki the chick, which I was able to do much faster and with more ease. It’s especially helpful that they teach you how to read patterns as well as have all the instructional videos, since then after I’d completed Pierre I was able to mostly complete Kiki by just the pattern alone! But because Pierre was my first crochet project ever (this one being my second), I still reviewed some of the videos to reassure myself that I was doing it correctly and for refreshers on certain things like how to do the beak and sew on the wings, placement of the parts, how to fasten off, etc. I live with chronic pain, depression and anxiety, so even though being on disability doesn’t pay well AND I live in Canada (where the exchange rate is terrible), the help this has been to my mental health is something that for me is well worth the money! Prior to The Woobles kits, my mom who has crocheted for decades (but has never done Amigurumi) tried to teach me a few different times, but I just couldn’t seem to learn it from her, maybe because “regular” crochet is a bit different but also because she couldn’t really slow it down to the basic beginner level that I really needed where everything is explained step by step. So are the Woobles more expensive than other Amigurumi, for sure, but their video tutorials combined with their *awesome* easy peasy yarn are worth it alone for me, plus it truly comes with everything you need! I know what I’ll be asking my hubby for, for my birthday next month, lol. Wooble on! 🐤

Great starter kit that you can customize!

This was only the second or third Wooble I ever made after purchasing the beginners pack. I’ve since picked so many skills that I decided to go back and add some feathers on top of the head. Love the way it turned out! All of the kits have been so fun to make and I love that there’s usually some extra yarn left over to do fun things like this.
