So ADORABLE!!!

Overall, I love the end result. I see a habit of me just making my little guys a hair on the chonky side, but I really don't mind that and he's my unique piece; imperfections and all! I mean, I also curled his tail in a bit so it resembles more of a Shiba, but I digress.

As a kit, I had pretty much everything I needed. I had all the materials needed and even some extra left to make something if i wanted and barring my own personal confusion regarding the patterns, they were generally easy to follow, plus the videos helped to visualize the parts that didn't make much sense just reading it in the pattern.

As usual, and mostly because i want build a habit of being able to do it, i dod frog the pre-started piece and started the magic ring over. (Also because i dont seem to use and count stitch markers the same way these kits do) The tutorials were helpful when I didn't quite understand the type of stitch being used like the cluster stitches, which is something I've never really come across in my years of doing the craft. The antler tutorial videos were felt a hair confusing [TO ME], but that was more because of the way the stitches worked in the pattern. I frogged that thing a couple times before I got it to a place I could consider it 'okay'.

That being said, I DID accidentally stick my Max's eyes on the wrong side of his body, so i kind of went into fix-it mode and made a few 'cups' to act as feet. He doesn't look bad, so at the least I think I succeeded in making him look decent! 😅

Overall, great kit, super fun use of time and honestly it was a fun way to ease back into crocheting after stepping back from it for a while and I'm learning to crochet plushes! So double win!

Quick and adorable!

Max looks best with his antler tied on his head during the holiday season.
