Mimi was my first Wooble and it was so much fun! I’m already deciding who my next one will be! She came out a little silly looking but I love her!
I felt like the tutorial was extremely helpful early on as a complete beginner but really felt like the some of the later videos like the mouth, antennas and finer details were really glossed over. I was appreciative of the thoroughness of the actual crochet teaching but definitely felt lost when it came to the other things. I’m also left handed and occasionally the video would only demonstrate the right handed orientation which threw me off a little.
Overall, I loved it and will definitely be starting another ASAP! I’m also shocked that I was able to finish this piece in 2 days! And now that I’m less inexperience maybe I won’t need to rely on the videos as heavily going forward.
This is my third Wooble and I think I’m addicted. These are so fun, so cute and great for so many brain functions! I want to make them all! Here is my cute little Mimi.
The sparkly yarn was fun to work with and overall it was fun to make. However, the shell was a bit tedious and I wish it would sit up on its own. Probably will not be making this pattern a second time.
I bought Mimi from a Barnes and Noble, and she is my very first Wooble. I loved the video tutorials; they are very easy to follow and perfect for beginners! I have over year of experience with crochet, so Mimi was very easy to make and assemble. I would definitely recommend getting Mimi the snail <3
This was my first time with a wooble, and I enjoyed it thoroughly! I had little experience from hours of YouTube videos and small kits which made no sense to me. I mostly ended up quitting half-way through (maybe I’ll continue them now that I know how to crochet). But this kit was very helpful and fun! It was slow paced and great for beginners like myself, and Mimi was easy to complete! If you make a tiny mistake along the way (like I did) it doesn’t affect the cuteness and remains a great gift.
