This cute Capybara was so fun to make! The new yarn type is great! I love his little feet! I did have to pay attention to instructions for the feet, and they turned out great! Perfect size! Feels huge compared to other woobles (and I have made giraffe and rhino) about same height as my rhino, and 2 rhinos deep.
Plus-absolutely adorable!! 😃
And yes, I had the Encanto art book on my bookshelf, made a perfect backdrop for this photo.
The second I start bigger Henri the frog (10mm hook) this comes out the next day.

Your extra squeezy yarn is soooo much easier and such fun to work with! And I’m already addicted to your regular kits. I highly recommend that you make more extra squeezy kits.
This kit is excellent for people with eyesight and/or motor skill limitations, including arthritis. I’ve been crocheting for a long time (and my finger joints are aging/often quite stiff) and I never realized how much easier it could be to crochet with thicker—not just “fluffier”—yarn. In my experience, a larger hook is usually used for thicker BUT FUZZY/FLUFFY yarn; and FUZZY/FLUFFY yarn can be a real challenge for beginners and intermediates. Your yarn is thick, but still the exact same “easy peasy” weave, which is fantastic.
I’d even suggest this kit as a first kit for true crochet beginners—especially kids. It’s MUCH easier to see each stitch, count stitches, and diagnose your own mistakes. The larger stitch makers are also excellent!
Please consider expanding your collection to include more kits like this one. I started Hugh today and I’ve already ordered two more Hugh kits—because I’m pretty sure I’ll finish Hugh tonight. 😂
so, recently I posted a review asking for this so THANK YOU SO MUCH for actually making this!
The video I saw of the girl making it, the stitches are pretty stretched and you can see the stuffing on the inside. Not really a fan of that.
