I made this kit for my son for his b day. Directions were easy to follow and I think it turned out great!
I was so excited to do a Harry Potter kit !! It was so much fun doing him and learning new skills and techniques.
This is probably my third or fourth Wooble kit that I have completed. I am an absolute beginner - never crocheted at all before Woobles. I love the Harry Potter collabs, but I ran out of black yarn. Fortunately I had a few bits from other kits leftover. I very nearly ran out of red as well - as in, I had to get creative when weaving in ends. See in the pic that this wasn't because I was leaving tails that were too long. That's literally how much red I had left at the end and the tails I had cut off.
I am a knitter, I spin my own yarn, and I weave on floor looms, but I could not figure out how to crochet no matter how many YouTube videos I watched or helpful friends. Though I can knit toys, and have, I like the way crocheted toys look. I saw this kit and decided to try it after reading reviews. I’m so glad I did, I can now read a pattern, understand basic stitches, fix mistakes, and best of all ended up with an adorable Harry Potter and Hedwig! I’ve already finished my next wooble, Snoopy, and have bought kits for my daughter and a friend.
