Loved making Darwin! He’s my 3rd Woobles and the easiest to make in my experience. I really appreciate the Beginner+ tag even though I’m already familiar with basic crochet techniques — sometimes I forget how to do basic stitches, so I’m glad that the Beginner+ videos give me reminders and reassurance that I’m doing things right.

I enjoyed making Darwin! Eye glasses were challenging for me, but he was fun to make.
This was my very first time crocheting! The videos go in baby steps which was very helpful but I still had to start over a couple of the steps. It took me a few days to finish just because I know when I start feeling tired or frustrated then it’s time to stop. After finishing Darwin I feel I have a decent grasp on a few different stitches and how to start a round. But it was not exactly easy or relaxing. Learning a new skill can be frustrating and not for the feint of heart, but it’s very satisfying to complete. You really are buying a course along with the materials from Woobles. I would recommend this for a total beginner if you are ready for a challenge. Even slightly experienced crocheters will probably find Darwin super easy.
