I got Buster as part of a mystery pack selection and couldn’t be more pleased. This worked up really quickly which makes it really satisfying. It’s Super Cute, so why not 5 stars! This works for all skill levels, if you know what you’re doing jump right into the pattern and if you’re new or need a little help just follow along with the tutorial; it’s really that easy. I added a little loop on the top so I can attach a carabiner to hang it from a book bag.
Buster was fun to do, but I’m glad this project didn’t end up being my first. This is the kit that got me wanting to try Woobles. I didn’t start here, but I did get to complete what inspired me to start crocheting, and that was gratifying. Buster is incredibly cute, and I plan to attempt to make one that looks like my dog.
I made buster as my second Woobler and he was so fun and cute to make!
Everyone told me amigurumi would be too difficult for a beginner, start with granny squares, save money by teaching yourself, etc... It was even harder because I'm left-handed, and this is a right-handed world. With everything else I tried, it was hard to know what the things I was working on were supposed to look like, if I was doing it right, what to do with these tiny chains and squares I had practiced with.
I had tried to get into crochet before through classes, YouTube, and books, but the Woobles was the only thing to work for me!
It's so much fun and easier to work on a project that you can keep and be happy with at the end.
I am so proud of Buster, and I love the Woobles because they made crochet fun. The resources provided are incredible, and I was able to take as long as I needed or restart as much as I needed while making Buster. It's awesome to know I can also make him again and compare my progress through the end products.
