Being a complete noob to crocheting, I thought this would make a great project for myself and my 8 year old so I purchased 2 Pierres. Guess who got stuck doing both projects? The videos and step by step instructions were great. I was able to sail through the body and circle patch with ease. The smaller details like the wings and the beak made me want to switch from Pierre the Penguin to Pierre the egg. I powered through it using the FB group to comb through advice and encouragement. Very glad I persevered through this project and made many mistakes so I could learn how to undo them and start over. Trust the process is all I've got to say!

Not my first attempt at crochet but definitely my most successful.
This kit is awesome!!
It’s not what just comes in the, well designed, package but the video tutorials are wonderful and gave me the confidence to keep going. I think it is the use of simple graphics that help give key concepts - from the chart showing how the stitches fit to the simple ‘V’ overlay, the high fives and pats on the back.
After completing ‘Pierre’ I was surprised by the skills I had retained and started again with the left over yarn. Unfortunately not enough to complete another ‘Pierre’ but enough to get up to Round 8 - it is looking more consistent than my first ‘Pierre’.
What more can you ask for?

Pierre was one of my favorites to make so far! He wasn’t my first Wooble, but the process of making him was so straight forward and relaxing. 10/10 recommend as a first, second, third, or hundredth Wooble 🐧
I had so much fun making the Pierre the penguin Wooble! This was my first time crocheting, and this kit is perfect for beginners. The video instructions are super helpful. I had some trouble at first and contacted Woobles. The Woobles faculty is super helpful and they respond really quickly as well. I already ordered my second Woobles kit! I absolutely love crochet and can’t wait to start crocheting again!! I am now a costumer of Woobles!!!
This was actually my 3rd wooble
He turned out beautifully the tutorials were great and I feel I had good practice with nico ( quite a mess) and Tanya much better .. but Pierre was the favorite. I’ve never crocheted in 57 years so I’m quite pleased!
