Well, I made a bit of a mistake when crocheting the shell; so I just rolled with it and came up with Emilio 2.0. Like all the other Woobles kits, this one was just as much fun to make even though he looks completely different.
emilio is my very first wooble. everything was so easy to follow and i so love the finish product!
I bought several different little creatures as gifts, but Emilio was for myself. It was a bit more complex than I expected at first (and time consuming), as I haven't crocheted for a long time so it was like my first time. Once you get the patterns down, it goes a bit more smoothly. I actually need to remove his head and redo it because I'm sure I messed up that, being the first part; it's not as pictured 😅. That aside, it's a very fun project with an adorable result! My kids loved playing with it afterwards, so they'll be happy to have their own soon (so they stop stealing mine!)! The directions are very easy to follow. I have a couple more to make, and I've bought some more mini versions to make as well! Definitely recommended!
Probably should not have started with this one as now that I’ve completed it I notice differences in the others marked for beginners that would have made learning easier, but I made it through with the very helpful videos. Loved this product so much I’ve just purchased a bundle and can’t hardly stand the wait for it to arrive. Highly recommend!!! He isn’t perfect but my 13 year loves him just the same!!
Emilio came out so cute! Directions are so easy to follow and I think he came out adorable.
