I got the kit as a gift and it was very pleasantly surprised! I've already been crocheting for years before ever receiving the kit, but making any kind of amigurumi always escaped me. More because I couldn't figure out the increase decrease situation. While I did end up taking the started piece apart to start it again on my own, the instructions were super easy to follow and videos were majorly helpful to a visual learner like me! I'm in love with this yarn-type, though! I don't have to worry about pesky fibers and unraveling! I made my Jojo's ears a bit off-kilter on purpose and she turned out a hair chonky, but I love her! The stitch markers were the most helpful part of the kit!! My only note would be about the crochet needle. The metal part of the needle threw me off a bit as it was a little glossier than the needles I'm used to, making the yarn stick to it a bit as I worked. I ended I using my own needle in the end to make the piece.
This kit is amazing everything you need is in it. This kit doesn’t deserve the bad reviews. The tail is a little hard but it get easier as you go. But overall highly recommend!
I have been crocheting sense I was 9 now I’m just going to 12. I am crocheting a blanket right now.
This is a great wooble to make if you want to try the ears and having to make the fuzz for the ears. The way you make the bunny tail was great... I have to admit I almost missed that step. lol A fair warning though, don't think to hard like I did about the ears. If they look a little lopsided that's fine b/c bunny ears kind of flop over.
Anyway, give this one a try.
I had never croched in my life before. The step by step videos are very clear and allowed me to learn to learn how to make tree different stitches, make a magic ring and read a pattern. Now, I can not only make the rabbit, but I can also crochet with any pattern I want !
***The only negative point was the video where they attached the ears. It was very unclear and I never understood. I am usually very quick at understanding things like that, but watched it many times and could not get it. So I free-styled it and it worked beautifully !
P.S.: It has a pompom tail, it is absolutely adorable !
