Love the color and it came out so cute!
I ordered some Woobles because I never could get the hang of just trying to make a basic blanket or scarf. It just never clicked and I got bored. So I ordered because I believed it would be challenging enough to keep me interested but informative enough that I could figure it out, and I was right! My little turtle is super cute and lives on my new book shelf. I finished him in a few hours. The videos were very informative and even when I had to replay them multiple times, it was me not doing something right, not bad direction. I had more than enough material to do the project, and I ended up very proud of myself! If you are on the fence about ordering, just do it! You won't be disappointed 🐢
This was my third wooble and the one I had the hardest time with. I think it still came out super cute, but I definitely notice some mistakes, like how the legs don't reach the ground, the sewing of the head isn't the best, he sits on his head, and because we work in a spiral and the eyes are so far apart, I somehow put the eyes in two different rows. This was my first time doing a color change so it took me a few watches of the video to understand how to weave in the tails, but I finally got it to come out correct. I absolutely adore this color combination and the pattern is so cute! Definitely love Emilio, it was just a bit harder than other wobbles so I would suggest trying other kits first! :)
This is was my favorite Wooble kit that I have made so far! My daughter (18 months) loves turtles so I saw this and wanted to make one for her. The steps were easy to follow and I learned how to change yarn colors as well as how to crochet the feet and tail to the piece. This was a lot of fun. It took me about 5 hours to complete. The included pattern and videos are helpful. I highly recommend this kit!
My daughter loved her second kit! Emilio the Pink Turtle has really sparked her interest in crocheting! In fact, we’ve already ordered additional kits. As a parent, I appreciate the step-by-step instructions, and the way new crocheting techniques are introduced. With this kit, my daughter learned how to change colors, from orange to pink.
