Cab-In the Mood for the Holidays Advent Calendar

I not only bought and made this year‘s advent calendar but also last year’s. I have made many animals during the year and put as many as I thought would be in a frosty forest in my vignette. Please enjoy my videos and pictures which include both years and many extra animals when the wobbles began it had been a lot of years since I crocheted, although I started 50 years ago. When I got my first wobble, I was hooked pun very much intended. I have now bought at least 75% of everything they offer. Every person or child that steps into my home begs me for one I’ve had to start a list of ones to replace the ones I have given away. My daughter-in-law is British and I gave her the first two Harry Potter sets that were released. Ijust finished the third one. My children, nieces and nephews, and of course the grands have counted for over two dozen missing woobles. I hope you enjoy my Christmas pictures nearly as much as I enjoyed making them all. You will notice embellishments I couldn’t help but I had such as the pom-poms on the Christmas tree. Please do yourself a favor and try a wooble kit. Oh yes, I made Snoopy and Woodstock and all their accoutrement for my 33-year-old banker son. to my absolute astonishment. He took them all to the bank and showed them to all in sundry.

I enjoyed the 2024 wooble advent calendar. I feel like last year’s responses were taken into consideration to create the calendar. 12 days of surprises was more manageable than the 24 although I was still behind and finished all the projects a couple days ago lol. I loved having the 4 full size traditional wooble style characters to make. Loved the sweaters and mini cardinal accessories. The winter cabin theme was carried throughout the box. The packaging and presentation of everything was excellent. I loved last years 24 drawers but having everything I needed for a project in one box was very convenient to just carry with me on the go. I never ran out of yarn for any of the projects. I really didn’t need a hook for every single full size character but on the other hand, it was nice to have everything I needed if I took a daily project with me on the go (although I always have a hook with me because I carry my projects in my wooble canvas tote). Loved the holiday hook and tin case. The hook should be in the day one box though to create the excitement of continuing on with the calendar. The snowglobe was adorable with all the characters and a great way to conclude this years advent calendar. The videos were helpful. Everyone should be pros at making magic circles by the time all projects are created :) I think my biggest criticism is that I lost some of the surprise I love associated with advent calendars and Christmas. I think it was great to give people the option to find out everything that was included in the calendar. I wanted to be surprised however I found it hard to look away every single time advertising came up on my instagram feeds or emails. You could see the outlines of the “mystery” items so I figured I would be making a squirrel and snowman. The packaging on the box included the figures so I had a clue there was well. Despite that I enjoyed the 2024 advent calendar and look forward to next year’s calendar.

My daughter received this advent box and she is 11. She has had soooo much fun working through all the boxes. She was able to follow the videos and has absolutely enjoyed every surprise in the box.

My husband gifted me the 2024 Advent calendar, for which I am grateful. I had read the reviews in their earlier Advent offerings, and it seems the Wooble creators learned from the reviews and made this kit better. "Advent calendar" may be misleading because this kit only has 12 boxes, maybe 12 days of Christmas would be better. But considering it includes 4 full-sized kts, and numerous smaller kits, there is more than enough to keep you woobling for 24 days. In fact I only opened the first three boxes, making 2 of the full-sized kits, and I'll save the rest for next year. This would be a great project for a family or group friends. Since each each full-sized box includes everything needed, the various projects could be given out to different people. The creativity of the big box scene and the kit boxes alone is amazing. The first box turns into a sleigh! The Woobles I already had made enjoyed joining new friends in the cabin. I look forward to displaying it in future years.

I was disappointed in that the kit didn't get to me in time. I received it about December 9th. The box marked 1 took me 2 weeks to complete! I am very happy with how my snowman turned out. I was excited and finished the next one in 2 days! Currently working on the 4th one and haven't started the accessory packs. I was surprised at how many hooks came. I gave one box to my sister because everything you need to complete each one is in its box.
