Salem was the first Wooble I made. I chose her because I love cats and the color purple. I’ve since made another with tan yarn and a blue scarf for my mother in law for Christmas (it’s my version of the Penn State Nittany Lion!)
I have always wanted to learn to crochet. I have actually tried to teach myself through books and pamphlets and could not pick it up. I decided to try these kits because they claim anyone can do it. Well, they are right. Anyone can do it. I completed my first kit in a weekend; working on it a couple hours at a time. I feel so satisfied with how the project ended and can not wait to start my next.
I started making these for my son. Salem is his favorite so far!
I was surprised at now easy the kits are to make considering how hard it was to learn when I asked my grandma to show me years ago.
This is the first one I made. I had to start over once because I wasn’t counting my stitches. Before this I was terrible at crochet, I feel like I learned so much and Salem is adorable!
I haven’t crocheted in probably 6-7 years and I’ve never made a stuffed animal before. But I got a Halloween Woobles kit and fell in love with the yarn arts again. Now I can make a magic loop, and sometimes I don't even need the video to do it.
