Getting started
Surprise! Another prototype-only page :) Since I didn't think it'd affect your learning experience that much, plus you're a smart cookie, I didn't take the time to make a different Getting started page for each kit.
Materials
Here's what's in your kit:
- Crochet hook
- Stitch markers (which are already hooked into your biggest ball of yarn)
- Tapestry needle
- Plastic eyes
- Stuffing
The yarn in your kit depends on which animal (or vegetable) you got:
- Penguin: Blue, white, yellow
- Fox: Red, white, black
- Two Peas in a Pod: Green, pink
You might not know yet what all these materials are for, but fret not, it will all be revealed soon. The only other things you’ll need are scissors, and you’re good to go!
Pre-started crochet piece
To get you right into practicing the basics of crochet, your kit came pre-started for you. You're looking at a magic loop with 6 stitch markers in it.
Since mistakes happen, even to the best of us, know that you can always pull on the yarn connected to the ball to get back to this starting point.
