We couldn’t be more excited to introduce this hot new kit, designed by our very own Woobler community…Kaida the Dragon! When it comes to cuteness, she definitely tips the scales in her favor, and she’s so char-ming that we don’t even mind her tendency to take the last piece of anything, wyvern you like it or not. That may be why she can fly only two feet off the ground, but it definitely doesn’t stop her from being totally claw-some.
Friendly, goofy, clumsy, and excitable, Kaida loves to stay up all knight, collect shiny things, and hoard all the gold—not to mention all the freshly toasted marshmallows. It’s lucky for her that her favorite food is burnt pizza, since she accidentally burns it every time she takes a bite. This is the second Woobles kit I have done. I have never crocheted before trying these kits. I did Fred the Dino first. This one was a bit harder but I did it! It's definitely far from perfect but I love it!
I love doing this in between studying for exams as a way to destress. Would definitely recommend!
Overall, this kit was pretty ok, it had nice instructions and videos to go along with it and in the end it created a really cute dragon! My biggest issue with this kit was the materials themselves, I absolutely hated the yarn and found it hard to work with especially compared to traditional yarn. The tiny holes in the yarn was such a pain to work with. Even with this though not a terrible kit.
Kaida has been one of my favorite Woobles to make thus far!
I’m an experienced crocheter, but wanted to try these kits so I could recommend them to others, as well as make more friends to gift as dragons are the high school mascot where my husband is band director. I LOVE this kit! And the hook is adorable! Can’t wait to make more dragons in other colors!! And LOVE the Easy Peasy yarn, definitely buying more of it as well! It creates a beautiful smooth look and is so much easier to work with than yarn that splits.
