I crocheted for the first time on 21 June and Snoopy was my 8th Wooble. I've already finished my 9th. I KNEW I would love this activity! What and incredible way to wind down at the end of the day. What's more, these Woobles have given me the confidence to try a crochet pattern that isn't a Wooble and I might be able to call myself a crocheter, now! But I wont be staying away too long. I have 10 more Woobles waiting patient for me. Snoopy was fun. The shape is cute and I got a a fair bit of sewing practice in, which has been a struggle for me. I felt like by the time I was done, I had a much firmer grip on sewing attachments on.
This is my first time crocheting and I had the best time making this snoopy plushie. Some parts are a bit trickier than others, but the video was fairly easy to follow along and the more I practiced the more I got the hang of it ! Really recommend trying !
New to amigurimi but been doing regular crochet for a little over a year. Second wobble and don't feel like this is a beginner friendly kit. Too many pieces to sew on and the instructions for the embroidery for the eyes and mouth were confusing. Also with the amount this kit costs the crochet hook can be a little better. Hook was snagging on the yarn. Also Kit should come with a few sewing pins to help sew the pieces on or instructions that pins can help get your pieces on straight before sewing on. Other than that...yarn is great and did not fray when I had to frog the arm and re-do the crochet again to get it the same size as the other arm. Also most of the instructions is clear and easy to learn amigurimi. Snoopy came out OK and took me 2 weeks to make. Makes a good friend for my pet too.
I added legs to my snoopy, by using the same pattern as the arms and sewing it where I thought looked good. I read a review on Amazon of someone doing the idea first. It looks so much better incase others want to try it. Absolutely amazing kit one of my favorites!
This was my first ever crochet project!! I made a few mistakes and had to restart a bunch of times but it was really fun!! The videos were really easy to follow too! For my first project, I think it turned out pretty good!!!
