Fun, Easy, and Full of Learning

I’ve always wanted to learn to crochet. No one in my life knows how to do it, so I had no one to teach me. I don’t consider myself a “crafty” person. However, I finished this cute penguin (worked a couple hours a day over the span of three days)! It was a fun, relaxing, learning experience. The videos help a lot. I now know the basic mechanics of crochet, how to count stitches, how to read a pattern, and so much more! I’m so thankful to The Woobles for teaching me this life long skill! I feel confident to start other projects now. My penguins is pictured with my cat (for scale).

The start of something good

Pierre was my first wooble. I tried to learn crochet as a kid (my grandmother was an avid crocheter) but having cerebral palsy made learning and consistency really difficult.

The woobles tutorials make learning so much easier because I can take a break when my hand gets tired and start again where I left off.

I’m definitely hooked.

Crocheting remembered

My grandmother taught me to crochet 25 years ago…and I forgot everything! My husband saw this and asked if I had any interest in learning to crochet. I immediately said “yes.” I got this little fellow done in a day, and while he isn’t perfect, I’m rather proud of this as a first effort. One of my sons immediately adopted him, but demanded he have feet too. I did my best;) I’ve already got Emilio the turtle on the way for my other son, who demanded a wooble of his own!

Fantastic Experience

I have attempted to get into crochet for many years as the thought of making stuffed animals for my two girls was something I really wanted to do. Having the kit and tutorial all packaged together with so many great videos was enough to finally allow me to understand the process and complete a project. I loved that if I had a question on a particular stitch I could go to a linked video and practice along until it made sense. Pierre is looking a little lumpy, but seeing how happy my 3 year old was upon receiving it was the best feeling. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to any beginner and I look forward to picking up some additional kits in the future.

Hooked!

I’ve never crocheted before, tried knitting numerous times and never once finished a project. These kits make it so easy, the video tutorials are so easy to follow. I made two penguins and have more kits to do! 10/10!
