This was my first wooble and I had such a fun time. I found the instructions easy to follow even as a lefty! I wish the embroidery in the sleeve stripes was different because I found it difficult to keep in place and difficult to get the needle back through the piece. Other than that, I really enjoyed this piece. It’s clear to me that I am definitely pulling my stitches too tight so some my embroidery looks weird or too close together, so I will need to work on that for the next kit!
Before woobles, I had never crocheted before. Woobles made it so easy to learn and now I am literally hooked! Beetlejuice was so much fun and I learned so many things! I'm so sad that he's done!
I bought this Beetlejuice kit to make for my granddaughter to add to her Wooble Halloween collection. What gives this kit its value (other than the cute creation) is the step-by-step video instructions. The patterns are easy to read line by line, but sometimes I struggle with understanding the extra instructions that explain how to attach parts or join stitches. (For Beetlejuice it was the hair.) Having a quick video to watch for that purpose, keeps the process moving along and helps guarantee a project you will be proud to gift and/or show off.
It was so fun to make Beetlejuice and I think he came out great! I only had to tweak his lapel.. for some reason the original instructions didn't make it long enough.
