So cute and fun to make! Instructions aren’t great, but adequate

Bubbles the Elephant was my second amigurumi project. I purchased several kits and I’m glad I didn’t attempt the elephant first. Compared to the video instructions for Bacon the Pig, the videos for Bubbles isn’t as clear for first-time crocheters. It seems like the videos for the pig were created more recently, and therefore they were more concise and easier to follow (they are formatted like IG stories whereas the instructions for the elephant are individual YouTube videos). I decided to make the trunk a bit floppy because it was weird to me for it to stick straight out like in the photo on the package. I had enough yarn to re-make one of the ears (and more left over) because I messed up with the attachment process.

If it’s your first time crocheting or tackling amigurumi, I recommend starting with Bacon the Pig (from personal experience).

Overall, these kits are a lot of fun… they do require focus and patience, so as a beginner, multitasking wasn’t an option for me (like carrying on a conversation while you’re crocheting).

Super easy for beginners, I finished in 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down! Only thing is I ran out of grey yarn for the tail, but who needs a tail anyways.

Love this wobble , good piece for an experienced beginner

I really enjoyed this wobble. The pattern was very easy to read and follow. It was tricky because I had to practice some new crochet techniques, but very satisfying to work on.
