irving'later changed to poison' was so cute and easy and I enjoyed creating him he looks like the death mushroom from Mario!🍄 like that but purple and blue... anyway he is defiantly one of my favorite kits! 'I would enjoy the actual power up mushroom from Mario!' I did also change his mouth and his eyes are one round up...😁
I'm so glad I found this beautiful boy at a co-op nearby. Crocheting the frill was a bit of a workout, but with this being my third Wooble, I was happy to crochet something with a new twist (literally). The glitter yarn is, of course, a delight!
This pack had great instructions and very simple short easy rounds. Mushroom shapes are so unique, that I think it could hide mistakes well too. I've since used this pattern as a base for a tiny army of mushrooms and they're adorable.
I hate mushrooms, but Irving was fun to crochet. I do wish the pre-started piece wasn't so loose as I crochet a bit tighter and that my cap a bit weird shaped as a result. But loved the blue and purple sparkly yarn and may try to build my own from scratch. Also really like the fact the sparkly yarn is so easy to shape. Woobles, please make this sparkly yarn available for purchases!
This was the sixth Wooble I made, I was confident enough to modify the design. I’m happy with how my changes turned out.
I used white Woobles yarn from the store for the stem, frill, and spots, tan yarn from the kit materials for the gills, and red Eco Crochet yarn for the cap. I made the body first. I added 2 rounds of sc after round 10, and a round with 6 inc after round 13. I wanted the cap flatter and wider than the design so I did some math to skip rounds 4 & 5. After round 8, I did rounds with 5 inc until it was a size I liked.
