This is the second Wooble I've ever done, and I had so much fun with it. I found the second time to be much easier as I was already familiar with the different stitches. I felt more confident, and I think my technique looks a lot better as a result.
The design of The Joker is just so cute! His little bowtie is my favorite part! I decided to do the hair a bit differently than the tutorial. Normally, you're supposed to sew the curl of Joker's hair down to make a pompadour shape, but I really liked the curl, so I kept it free.
The tutorial videos were also great and super detailed! I never hit a point where I felt stuck or confused.
I would definitely recommend this piece, even to beginners. I'd say Joker was technically a bit more complex than Batman, so if you are a complete beginner deciding between the two, I'd say try Batman first and then advance to Joker.
I’ve been crocheting for 35+ years but have never really been good with reading patterns. My hubby gave me the Batman collection for Christmas (best present ever!!) and I just finished the Joker with his hat (I added a flower made with leftover red yarn by simply making a magic circle). I learned new stitches and how to follow a pattern with the extremely thorough videos. I would definitely recommend this to someone who has at least basic crochet skills. I can’t wait to start Batman and Harlequin!
