I’m working on Emilio and was happy to be learning some new stitches that I didn’t come across in the Pierre and Leo and Raccoon kits that I had already done! However there was a point that the video guide said “follow the pattern” for the next few lines and I had to go figure out how to see the listed pattern (there is a spot you can click on to see it, but it’s OUTSIDE of the video guide). I found it and was able to move on, but would not recommend this kit as the first one for a new Woobler. I also struggled with the legs and didn’t have room for the 4th one so I ripped it all out and will try again more carefully. I haven’t started Fred yet. The colors are beautiful and the yarn is easy to work with.
I am hooked on these Woobly kits! I have made 6 or 7 so far but these Easter pastel kits are the best!!!!
And the kits that teach you, step by step, how to crochet these little guys are only half of the story. I needed assistance from customer service on a damaged piece and they went above and beyond to help me!

I love this yarn. I wish I could purchase it. I always appreciate the kits, the quality of the yarn, and the easy-to-read patterns. Both of these are "head heavy. The turtle head is too big for the body, and it sits funny. The dinosaur kept falling forward. So, I added feet to the front. I took the arms and made them a little bigger for the feet so that he would stand. The feet are cool and should be a standard part of the design!!
This is by far my favorite bundle! Fred is so fun to make, I’ve made 3 and working on a fourth. It’s a hit with my kiddos. I’ve made 2 Emilios. Videos are so easy to follow. The heart is a cute lil accessory. One lil hiccup: I didn’t have enough yarn in the Emilio kit to finish one row in his shell but luckily I had lots of leftover from Fred’s kit.
The kits and easy to follow patterns and videos have been so much fun! I love the pastel colors and I still needed these two Woobles so I was super excited to get these!!
