Peanuts-Palooza Bundle

I am a huge Snoopy fan. I love this set! It’s fun to make the clothes and change the outfits! I even modified Snoopy’s camping hat and made one for Woodstock!

This bundle was my very first Woobles kit. I started with Snoopy, then Woodstock, before moving on to the accessories.
Snoopy is absolutely adorable! The attention to detail (his red collar, black spot on his back, big nose, and more) is incredible. Even the shape of his tail is perfect. You can tell how much thought went into designing him. The yarn is so nice to work with, super soft and easy to see the stitches. Not only is the hook super cute, but it's very comfortable to hold and the size is perfect. The video tutorials are easy to find and follow. They start out super slow (in a good way) and gradually get faster, up to reading patterns on the screen. After only making Snoopy I could already read and follow patterns easily, occasionally going to videos to visually see how to embroider certain details or get a refresher on a certain stitch.
Woodstock is just too cute. I enjoyed trying the different style of making him (head and body separate) versus the one large peanut shape of Snoopy. Though the feathers were tricky, I managed to figure it out and they turned out good! My only problem here was that the feathers' tutorial was a bit too fast; I continually got lost trying to remember the plethora of brand new and (at the time) complicated stitches. Just like Snoopy's, Woodstock's hook was cute and felt nice to hold. I did notice, however, on both of the hooks there seemed to be a plastic wrapping that was the pattern itself and began to tear off after use. Not a big problem, but a bit worried that at some point chunks of the pattern will be gone and it'll look scrappy.
Every accessory was very nice and well designed. Everybody loves the tiny aviator outfit for Snoopy. Would've liked maybe another outfit for Woodstock that he could wear when it isn't winter and cold. I always cut off extra long yarn tails, just to make sure it's long enough, and for almost all the kits I had more than enough to do so. However, with Snoopy's Santa costume, I did run out of white yarn. I was incredibly lucky to have enough left over from Snoopy to make the pom pom (which, by the way, was SUPER fun to make, and far easier than I anticipated!). Most of the accessories, especially the coats, were very hard, but the outcome was awesome and I'd be very proud after completing it, and craving more.
I caught on to crochet very easily, and I fully anticipated it to be too hard and I'd end up frustrated and eventually quitting (I had a bad experience trying to learn to knit). But no! Each time I made a mistake and undid stitches and occasionally restarted, I got better and better. Now, I've made lots of non-woobles projects and I've even designed some of my own amigurumi patterns. I started teaching my grandma to crochet and plan on teaching a friend as well. I've connected even more with my great-aunt (another crocheter). Crochet has changed my life and I can't imagine who I'd be if I never learned, and it's all thanks to The Woobles. THANK YOU!!

I was so excited to see that the Woobles made some of the Peanut's characters! This kit was fun and easy to make, and I loved the accessories that came with it. :)

This bundle was more difficult than the PAC-Man, but still fun. Had to get creative with the wings and tail on Woodstock and the accessories. Learned a lot of new stitches.

I love the woobles crochet kit, snoopy, and Woodstock. They were just so good for me to learn how to make a plushy, and I just brought a lot of joy to my heart and to just learn how to make little plushy‘s just really wrap my heart like a lots of joy I already know how to crochet, but it’s been a very good time for me to learn how to make stuffed animals. I love the woobles crochet kit.
